The central office of Best International Motion Pictures (BIMP) is in Edinburgh, United Kingdom, and its regional office is in Mumbai, India. To honor alternative cinema with honesty, openness, and solidarity, BIMP holds quarterly festivals with live screenings. In order to make the competition more enthralling, we make our quarterly winners compete in the annual Gala at the end of the year and hand out certificates and trophies to winners; this assures that we recognize alternative cinema.
